(The following are actual messages taken from a weight loss support group chat line in November, 2000.)
I'm a junk foodalcolic. I feel huge. Nothing seems to work. I've tried exercising and eating healthy but I can never stick with it. Acting Well
works! It
stops your cravings dead in their tracks. In six months,
you'll realize that going back to eating junk food is
unthinkable. I'm very depressed about my weight. That's because your
life is moving sideways instead of forward. Once
Acting Well
puts you in
charge of your hormones, your depression will vanish. Try
Acting Well
and you
won't need Prozac. Really! I say, OK, Monday I'll start. But Monday never comes. Monday's here,
Scott. Once you start Acting
Well,
whatever commitment you have to make will be simple, easy,
doable, and fun. I'm an emotional wreck. I avoid walking past mirrors, and I'm sad most of the time. In other words, HELP!!! We want to end your
misery and fill you with pride and hope, Howard, not because
you suddenly got thin (which you will, but you must learn to
be patient), but because you know that
Acting Well
makes you
unstoppable. I keep gaining and gaining. I really need support. None of my family or friends are overweight so they don't know what I'm going through. We do, Pam. We also
know that what you need isn't understanding, but a plan that
works. In other words, you need a plan that cancels your
need for pity and support, because you've gotten back your
pride, and above all, your vitality. I'm desperate. I've been trying to lose for so long it seems undoable. Richard thought
being overweight for many years meant he'd never lose,
either. But once he started Acting
Well, it
only took him ten months to return to the same weight he was
ten years earlier. I weigh more today than I ever have my whole life. So did Richard,
when he started Acting
Well. Now
he's almost where he was in his Army Basic Training
days. I can't talk to anyone. It's too painful. You can talk to us,
Tammy. We can stop your pain and give you a workable
reality, not just idle hopes. When I diet, I feel I'm punishing myself. I stand next to people thinner than I and it makes me so miserable. Stop punishing
yourself, Pat. Acting
Well doesn't
make you diet. You eat the same amount and type of food
those thinner people eat. You just stop eating like fat
people. I'm looking for advice on how to lose inches off these thunder thighs. We've got a plan
for you, DLS, that eventually can balance the flesh all over
your body so you start to be proud again. It won't happen
overnight, but it's worth the wait, because there's no other
program that can do as well as Acting
Well. I can't stop gaining weight. Do any of you short girls out there have a weight/loss exercise plan that works? Acting Well
is that
plan! It combines weight loss and exercise. Most
importantly, it motivates you to stick to a plan uniquely
designed for you. Our magical techniques will make you want
to work your plan -- every day. I'd like to set a plan in motion to lose weight. So would we. Click
the program link to the left, Dawn, and let's work it out
together. |
